| Let's stop toasting nonsense! |
Ahh, good old Kanye West! Leave it to him to turn toasting into something negative! In his song Runaway, he is crooning about the men who do women wrong and toasting them for it. I feel that the jerks and scumbags are getting a little too much credit for nothing. Being a real/good man has lost its appeal lately and it’s driving me insane! According to many women out there, there are no good men to be found; they are all either taken, gay or not interested. I don’t agree with that. There ARE good men out there; however some women need to stop lying to themselves. Nothing is changing because some women are accepting laziness, rudeness and disrespect. Until there is some accountability, things will only continue to get worse.
Sorry men are just like children; the more attention they get, the worse they act. Women continue to get mad and complain, but they keep going back. When most women come across a good man, they view him as boring, drive him away, treat him like trash, or try to change him to their specifications. Then when the trash rolls onto their doorstep, they are ready to spray some Febreze on it and accept all the problems that come with it! I am starting to believe that some women have grown attached to ignorant behavior and wouldn’t know how to act with a real man. Read on to see the examples of the unsavory characters that are being saluted instead of shunned:
Abusers- On a recent radio show about men playing hard to get, women called in saying they liked being ignored for a few days, screamed at or treated crazy. Ladies there is nothing cute about being controlled, treated like a child or dealing with bipolar behavior. Since abuse is more than physical, women need to take a stand against being talked to or treated any type of way. It’s not always easy, but nobody deserves abuse. Deadbeat dads/Baby Mama Drama- Just because a man can create a child, doesn’t make him responsible. If a man isn’t caring for his child or respecting a woman he chose to knock up, what makes you think he will have any respect for you, or the child you may have, in the long run? Also if he is cool with you fighting with the mother of his child, you need to leave that alone!

| Stop allowing cheating and stop being cheated! |
Drug Dealers/Hustlers- Many would argue that the other 9-5 man could be brilliant and business-minded. I say if that was the case, why can’t they do something legal and legitimate. Every hustler is not successful and life is not cheap. You also run the risk of falling for a potential addict, thief or man who will sacrifice almost anything for a quick buck.
Hoodrat Chasers/Cheaters- Every man knows what type of woman he needs, but he doesn’t always want her. Some men have a good woman at home, but chase the streets for something else. Every woman should feel that she is good enough to be the one and only. Allowing cheating is accepting physical and emotional damage in the future.

| Him being locked up shouldn't mean you being locked down. |
Jail-birds- I met a guy last year who said the ultimate sign of loyalty is a woman who will support a man in jail. Needless to say that was our last conversation! Collect phone calls, sending money for commissary, putting your life on hold for a criminal and never having your old relationship back is not love. I wonder how many women would support a man like that for years who decided to do something positive. Guess everybody can’t be Michelle Obama!
I refuse to raise my glass to the nonsense above! I WILL continue to support and believe in the good men out there and I suggest other women do the same. A relationship is as exciting as you make it. You don’t need to fight other women, take abuse, send money or worry about fidelity all for the sake of having a relationship. So let’s NOT have a toast for the scumbags! Instead let’s have a toast to the good men out there going to school, working hard, taking care of themselves and their families, steering clear of the long arm of the law, being faithful, and taking care of their woman. So ladies and gents, let’s try a little harder to be our best and recognize the best. It’s always better to be on steady sands than riding the wave of drama and facing drowning! Ta-ta for now!

Thats because the trash disguise themselves as squeaky clean. Women can't tell the difference.
Time, communication and common sense help. People always tell us who they are either by their words or their actions. It's up to us to do our research.
